OK, so yeah, I've been very neglectful of this site. Sorry faithful readers, whoever you are. Been a very busy year so far, plus I just got back from vacataion — a beautiful 3 weeks in Australia visiting my mate, Leon. Take a look at some new photos.

Ever been annoyed by the 40K limit of cookies? Not anymore.
The AJAX MAssive Storage System (AMASS) uses a hidden flash applet to allow JavaScript AJAX applications to store an arbitrary amount of sophisticated information on the client side. This information is permanent and persistent; if a user closes their browser or navigates away from the web site, the information is still present and can be retrieved later by the web page. Information stored by web pages is private and locked to a single domain, so other web sites can not access this information.

Here’s one of the things that I find so vital and interesting about blogs — when they are allowed to provide an open and honest and direct person-to-person voice for a company, they can break through the clutter and bull of that firm’s public relations machine. If everything you say or might say is controlled and buttoned down by your lawyer, let me tell you that right now, it’s excrutiatingly obvious to your readers. And the level of trust you’re attempting to gain by blogging in the first place takes a nose dive. Molly blogs about this today, and is far more articulate than me.

Can I just say, “Holy crap, I love this band?” OK, so I know it’s been 5 years since they broke up, but I still never tire of the best band to come out of Minneapolis. Named after a psychology professor at Macalester, who just happens to have been my advisor at Mac. Here’s a taste of what I’ve been so sweet on for so long. Honestly, John, Joey and Candice fueled the early days of Ciceron.
Reunion show tonight at the Triple Rock — and they’re filming a documentary.
